It’s finally finished! The next book in Eclipse. I started Collection of Onyx in December 2023, but didn’t write for most of 2024. Finally, I came back to it this year in 2025, and wrote a lot, especially in September.
I’m so glad to have finished this book, and I’m delighted with the plot. I’ve hidden many small details in this book that may make more sense later in the series! And there are so many little significant details and themes hidden throughout.
This book follows Sylvie and her friends as they settle into the Twilights’ base and way of life. Without her power, Sylvie feels lost. As Perri and Niyxx get closer, Sylvie feels lonely. And of course, she still is plagued with flashbacks, causing her to question everything in her reality. Does she truly trust anyone anymore?
Collection of Onyx focuses on an epic quest to help Sylvie get her power back. Sylvie meets many interesting new characters, and people from her past life continue to haunt her. I think I’ve really developed many characters in this book (I swear they don’t even listen to me when I write).
