I’ve begun planning a lot of book 2 of Eclipse, and in doing so, I’ve worked out a general plot for each of the remaining books of the series. I even have some rough name ideas.
I’m planning for 5 books in this series.
Unlike book 1, I’m actually planning a lot of things out now. However, I definitely expect I’ll have some random ideas to change the plot along the way!
My goal is to publish it by the end of this year. I opened up a sheet in Excel and now I’m recording everyday with a different colour for what I’ve achieved. For example, a writing session = blue. I’ve divided up the year:
200 days of writing
60 days of editing
20 days of planning/crisises
20 days of publishing
65 days of nothing
Looking at it now, I realise I forgot one day due to the leap year. Oops!
Hopefully I can publish this book before 2024 draws to a close.
